William (Liam) Murtagh

Murtagh William (Liam) (6th November 2025) (Clondalkin and late of Pimlico, Dublin 8, Killeen Paper Mill’s and Semperit Tyres, Ballyfermot) peacefully, after a long illness, surrounded, by his loving family in the kind care of all the staff of St. James’s Hospital;

beloved husband of Maria and much loved father of Audrey, Thomas, Lisa, Brian, Lorna and Derek, loving brother of Eddie, Phyllis and Jean also remember his late sisters, brothers and parents;

Liam will be very dearly missed by his loving wife, children, daughters-in-law Fionnuala and Gillian, sons-in-law Jimmy and Fred, grandchildren Clodagh, Eoghan, Sophie, Amy, Abby, Ethan, Megan, Emma, Cillian, Ruby, Jack, Liam-Óg, and Tadhg, sisters, brother, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at The Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village on Monday from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am in Church of Divine Mercy, Balgaddy, Lucan, K78 NH05 and afterwards to Esker Lawn Cemetery for burial.
