The death has occurred of
William (John) Phelan
PHELAN (Beaumont, Cork & late of Tipperary): On August 4th , 2025, unexpectedly, but peacefully at the Cork University Hospital, JOHN (late of Cork University Hospital Radio), loving husband of Ann (née Dowling, late of Collins Barracks), cherished father of John, Garret, Alison and Colin, brother of Rena, Frank and the late George, Jimmy and Michael.
Sadly missed by his wife and family, sisters-in-law Betty and Kay, brother-in-law John, daughters-in-law Eilis and Ann-Marie, son-in-law Gary, grandchildren Isobel, Nathan, Chloe and Emma, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Wednesday (August 6th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday (August 7th) in St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock.
Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
