William (Bill) Darby
Darby, William (Bill) (Hartstown, Dublin 15) – November 4, 2025 (peacefully) at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, son of Theresa and Bill Darby (the legendary Arsenal Scout) and brother of the recently deceased Annette, retired porter at DIT Mountjoy Square; lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his sisters Mary and Phyllis, brother-in-law Joe, nieces Louise and Susie, nephews Paul, Joseph and Damian, extended family and his many friends. Former member of Lourdes Celtic, WFTA, West Finglas Utd, Mellowes BDS and former Oxford Utd scout.
Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Sunday afternoon (Nov 9) from 3 o’clock until 5 o’clock.
Funeral Service on Monday (Nov 10) at 2.30 o’clock in the Chapel at Dardistown Cemetery.
