Violet Strachan
(née Jones)
Violet Strachan (née Jones) of Hillside, Greystones, Co. Wicklow.
Called Home August 7th 2025 peacefully in her 94th year after a brief stay in the exceptional care of Liz, Pat, Billy and all of the amazing staff at Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home, Greystones.
Beloved wife of the late John Strachan. Remembered with love by her devoted family, daughter Barbara, son Keith, son-in-law Stephen Lockhart, daughter-in-law Sandra, grandchildren Jonathan, Andrew, Melanie and Olga, Nine great grandchildren, extended family and her dear friends.
Funeral Service in Thanksgiving for the life of Violet in St. Patrick’s Church, Church Road, Greystones on Monday at 11am followed by Committal at Mount Jerome Crematorium at 1.30pm.
