Vanessa CLARKE

Vanessa passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday 19th of September. She was surrounded by her nearest and dearest at the time of her passing.

 

A formidable and inspirational woman of immense resilience, empathy and warmth.

 

She will be dearly missed by her mother Orla, sisters Victoria & Jenny-Rose, sons Ólan and Alex, Alex’s dad Dermot, adopted daughter Jess, nieces Rosa and Anna-May, brother in law Toby, daughter in law Molly, and her extended family. Vanessa leaves behind so many dear friends, relatives and colleagues.

 

A Mother to all, the impact she had on the people she loved cannot be expressed in words alone.

 

Vanessa will repose in Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Rd, Dublin 4 on Tuesday 23rd September from 18:00 until 20:00.

 

A celebration of Vanessa’s life will take place in Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6 on Wednesday 24th September at 16:00.

 

She will be buried in Inchigeelagh, Co. Cork, from Casey’s Funeral Home at 16.30 on Thursday 25th September. Eircode for the funeral home is P12 XT20

 

 

The family would like to extend their most sincere and enormous gratitude to the wonderful staff of The Mater Hospital, St. Vincent's Hospital and The Start Clinic as well as the endless friends and family who supported and cared for Vanessa throughout her fearless battle with cancer.
