The death has occurred of Tony Monaghan.

Tony passed away peacefully on Thursday 6th November, 2025, in UCHG.

 

Predeceased by his Father Vinny & Brother Christy.

Lovingly missed by his heartbroken Mother Mary, his Brothers Michael & Sean, his Sisters Mary, Patty, Geraldine, Pauline & Lisa, his Brothers-in-law Mickey, Padraig, Seamus, Mike & John, his Sisters-in-law Regina & Mags, his Aunt Margaret, his many Nephews & Nieces, Grand-Nephews & Grand-Nieces.

Tony will lie in repose at Monahan's Funeral Home, Gort H91X9W2 on Sunday evening November 9th from 5pm till 7pm.

Funeral Mass for Tony at 11am on Monday, Saint Colman's Church, Gort.

Tony will be laid to rest with his Father & Brother in Kilmacduagh Cemetery.

Family flowers only by request. Donations if desired to Gort Cancer Support.

 

Tonys Family would like to thank everyone for the kindness & support they have shown to us during this difficult time.

Thank you to the wonderful Doctors, Nurses & Staff at St. Dominics Ward UCHG and HDU for the care they gave Tony during his short illness.
