Tim Thompson

Tim Thompson, Tullaher, Moyasta, Kilrush, Co. Clare, passed away peacefully at Milford Care Centre, on Wednesday 18th June 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Forever loved and deeply missed by his devoted wife Carmel, beloved son Darren, daughter in law Sinéad and adored grandson Tadgh. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Anne, Mary, Catherine, Lynette and Olive, his brother David and his stepmother Cathy. Fondly missed by Carmel's sister Margie and brothers in law Pat, John, Anthony, Bernie and Michael, as well as his nieces and nephews, especially David Jnr, who held a very special place in Tim's heart, extended family, neighbours and many dear friends.

A kind, gentle soul, remembered for his warmth, humour and big Heart. He will be forever in our hearts.

Removal of remains from O'Sullivan's Funeral Home Kilrush on Friday (20th June) at 5.30, to our Lady Assumed into Heaven Church, Doonbeg, for reposing from 6 o'clock until 7.30.

Funeral Mass on Saturday (21st June) at 11 o'clock, followed by Cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 2 o'clock.

Follow by Refreshments at the Stella Maris Hotel Kilkee at 4.30 P.M.

Donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.

The Moyasta Coffee Company will be closed until Monday.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who helped care for Tim, at home over the past six weeks and to the extraordinary staff at Milford Care Centre for their Kindness, Compassion and Support in his final days.

Sincere thanks also to everyone who reached out with messages and calls of support throughout Tim's short illness, your love and kindness has meant so much.

Special thanks to the teams at Mullingar Hospital, St. Vincent's University Hospital, St. James's Hospital and to Dr. Mary O'Sullivan and her team in Kilrush, for their care, support and dedication, during Tim's illness.
