Terence Lowney

Terence Lowney, Lehanmore, Garnish, Beara, Co. Cork peacefully on the 9th November 2025, aged 79 years, in the excellent care of the staff in Castletownbere Community Hospital in the presence of his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents, Nora and Denis, his brothers John-Michael and PJ, his sister Mary Ita, and his nephew John Carrol.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his brothers Denis, Anthony and Frank, sisters-in-law Anne, Margaret, and Sheila, brother-in-law Noel, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, and his many friends.

Terence's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Castletownbere Community Hospital for their compassionate and dedicated care during Terence’s final days.

Reposing in Harringtons Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Monday (10th) from 5pm - 7pm followed by prayers.

Requiem mass will take place on Tuesday (11th) in St.Michael’s Church in Cahermore at 12 noon followed by burial in the local cemetery.
