In the early hours of Monday, August 4, 2025 Stella died peacefully at Galway University Hospital. It is with deep sadness that the family shares this news. Predeceased by her beloved parents Bridget and Michael and by her dearly loved son Nigel (Kerry), siblings Eithne, Bernie and Cyril. brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, relatives, great friends and neighbours.

 

Stella is deeply mourned by her devoted family; husband Brendan, daughter Olga and son Paul, daughters-in-law Eibhlis and Sheila, grandchildren Lauren, Eimear, Áine and Ruadhán, sisters Carmel, Ita and Angela and brother Aidan, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, relatives, great friends and neighbours.

 

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

 

Saturday, August 9, 2025

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Stella at 12 noon at Galway Cathedral. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.
