The death has occurred of
Sr. Mary Catherine MALONE
Sr. Mary Catherine RLR (Clare, Cork and Dublin) 19th June 2025 (peacefully) in her 100th year, in the kind and generous care of the sisters and staff in Our Lady’s Manor, Dalkey. Predeceased by her brothers Paddy, Thomas and John, sisters Eileen, Susan, Biddy and Teresa. Deeply regretted by her community at La Retraite, her sister Peggy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and her many friends.
May she rest in peace
Reposing in Fordes Funeral Home, South Gate Bridge, Cork on Sunday (22nd June) from 3pm to 4pm.
Removal on Monday afternoon (23rd June) to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Western Road, Cork arriving for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm (which can be viewed live on this link https://www.churchservices.tv/sacredheartcork).
Burial afterwards in St. Finbarr’s Cemetery, Glasheen Road, Cork.
