The death has occurred of
Sr. Mary Carmel O’Donoghue
Sr. Mary Carmel O’Donoghue, Salesian Sisters, Cill Leala, New Road, Thomondgate, Limerick V94 R8YK and formerly of O’Connell Avenue.
November 8th 2025 peacefully at the Ennis Road Care Facility.
Sadly missed by her Salesian Community, her loving sister Helen (Jones), brothers Sean and Tom, brother-in-law Liam, sisters-in-law Frances and Marie, nephews, nieces, cousins, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Predeceased by her parents Con and Marie, brothers Tadgh, Connor and nephew Pat.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Cill Leala, New Road, Thomondgate, Limerick V94 R8YK on Tuesday (11th November) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral arriving at St. Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand on Wednesday (12th November) for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.
