Seamus Bracken

Kilcarra, Arklow, Wicklow

Bracken, Kilcarra, Arklow, Co. Wicklow 20th June 2025, peacefully at his home, with his family by his side Seamus deeply loved and mourned by his wife Margaret (née O’Neill), loving father of Mary, Brian, Maeve, Turloch and Mairead, proud grandad of his grandchildren Mairead, Eamonn, Conor, Sean, Bronagh, Seamus, Donnachadh, Fia, Sadbh, Kealan, Bartley, Bronwyn, his great grandchildren Aidan, Daisy and Teidí, dearly loved brother of Agnes (McCabe), Mary (Caulfield) and the late Kay (Staunton), Peggy (Staunton) and his brother Michéal. Treasured father-in-law of Harry, Gerry, Marie and Patricia. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

 

May Seamus Rest in Peace.

 

Seamus will repose from 2-8pm on Saturday and Sunday, at his son Turloch’s home in Kilcarra. Removal on Monday morning to St. David’s Church, Johnstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by a committal service at 1.45pm in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin (D6W HY98).

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Wicklow Hospice, in Seamus’ memory. Donation boxes will be available at the Church and Crematorium.
