Richie passed peacefully in University Hospital Waterford surrounded by his loving family,

Thursday the 7th of August 2025

RIP.

Predeceased by his 8 older siblings.

Richie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Ann, his loving and much loved children, Raymond, Carmel, Laura, Deirdre and his adoring grandchildren, Leah, Evan, Adam, Sean, Anna, Tom, Theo, Hugh and Martha. Richie will be fondly remembered by all his nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many friends.

The Grant family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff of the Oak Ward in University Hospital Waterford for the exceptional care Richie received throughout his illness.

May his gentle soul rest peacefully

A celebration of Richie's life will take place in Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore X91TW21 on Saturday the 9th of August at 2pm after which the funeral home will remain open until 4pm for family and friends to pay their respects to Richie's family.

Refreshments will be served throughout

All are welcome.

As per Richie's wishes, a private cremation will take place at a later date
