The death has occurred of Ray (Raymond) Campbell, Monaghan Rd, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan, retired, 27th Infantry Battalion, Irish Defence Force, on Wednesday August 6th peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

 

Predeceased recently by his parents Ellie and Jimmy and his brother Fran.

 

Ray, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his heart broken family, his wife Pauline, daughters Michelle (Mahmut) and Elisha (Sharllyne), sons Mark (Karen) and Francis (Bróna), brothers Tony and Graham, sisters Yvonne and Celine, his cherished grandchildren Sophia, Tarik, Leona, Natasha, Shakira, Mackenzie, Amelia, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends, former colleagues in the Irish Defence Forces and most importantly Ali his dog.

 

May Ray’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace

 

Ray will repose privately (by his own request) at home among his family until removal on Friday morning to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Cavan / Monaghan Palliative Care, C/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.

 

House private please by request.
