Peter Spelman

It is with deep sadness that Peter's family share their great loss with you. Peter (Aged 43) died unexpectedly in the wonderful care of Galway University Hospital, with his family by his side, on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Predeceased by his beloved father Walter.

Peter is deeply mourned by his heartbroken family; his mother Mary, sisters Dolores and Paula, brothers Adrian and Damian, brother-in-law Martin, nieces and nephews; Josephine, Yvonne, Maureen, Claire, Síle and Eamon, Sinéad and Tara and by their mother Sylvia, Ciara and Ronan, aunts Nancy Long, Bríd Spelman and Helen McHugh and their families, relatives and Taekwon-do colleagues and students neighbours and friends.

 

The family would like to sincerely thank all those who came to Peter’s attention by rallying around to organize help in particular by the doctor who tried to resuscitate him, the paramedics and all the medics in the hospital.

 

Your death is shocking but our wish for you

is that you rest in peace

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Peter on arrival at St. Joseph's Church, Presentation Road at 11 a.m. and following Mass he will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Bohermore. Webstream link for Mass below.
