Patrick (Pat) Ruane, Ballagh, Menlough, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway

Passed away peacefully in the Claddagh Ward UCHG surrounded by his family on August 4th 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary Ruane and baby sister Eileen.

 

Pat will be deeply mourned by his brothers Timmy, Michael, Brendan and John, his sisters Mary Kilkenny (Ballymacward), Breege Connaughton (Gurteen), Kathleeen Holian (Skehana) and Christine McHugh (Mountbellew), his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, members of extended family, neighbours, his former colleagues in Thermo King and a wide circle of friends from all his GAA and other sporting activites.

Reposing in The Franciscan Agricultural College, Mountbellew (H53WE00) on Wednesday 6th, from 5.00 to 8.00pm

Funeral cortège will arrive at St Mary’s Church, Menlough (H53HF10) for 12pm Mass on Thursday 7th August.

Burial afterwards in the new cemetery Menlough.
