Paddy Townley

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paddy Townley, Funeral Director, Boyle O’Reilly, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Windmill Road. 20th June 2025. Peacefully at Home in the tender loving care of his wife and family, following a short illness bravely borne with great humility and courage. Predeceased by his parents Joe and Ellen, brother Joe, brother-in-law Brendan and sister-in-law Lily. Beloved husband to Patricia and adored dad of Barbara, Paula, Maurice and Aidan. Paddy, will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons, sons-in-law Jimmy and Martin, daughters-in-law Angela and Sheryl, his proud grandchildren Cillian, Andrea, Josh, Niall, Alex, Hazel, Ava, Sarah, Erin, Kayla, Rósa and Rían, brothers Seamus and Anthony, sister Mary, sisters-in-law Cathleen, Evelyn and Catherine, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and his loyal and dedicated staff.

Reposing at the Family Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Monday and Tuesday from 3pm until 7pm. Removal from his Home on Thursday morning 26th June at 11am, arriving to Our Lady of Lourdes Church for Funeral Mass at 11.30am, which can be viewed live on www.youtube.com/@joefinneganmedia Burial will take place afterwards in St Peters Cemetery. House strictly private please.

Donations in lieu of Flowers to the Medical Missionaries of Mary or Palliative Care, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
