Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff of Retreat Nursing Home on Saturday 14th June 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary (née Longworth). Sadly missed by his devoted family Finola (Claffey | Moate) , Niall (Baylin), Orla (Wojna | Atlanta, Georgia), Mark (Brisbane), sons-in-law Liam and Chester, daughter-in-law Angela and Carmel, his adoring grandchildren Aisling, Morgan, Rory, Robert, Claudia, Chloe, Katie, Sasha, Izzie, Ciarán, sister-in-law Tilda (O'Meara | Galway), nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at his residence (Garrycastle House, Dublin Road | N37 WV74) on Wednesday from 4pm until 7pm. (House Private Outside These Hours Please)

Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Church on Thursday at 10:30am followed burial afterwards in Clonmacnois.
