Owen McGinty

Owen McGinty, of Rush, Co. Dublin and formerly of Tonragee, Achill, Co. Mayo, passed away peacefully on 19th June 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

 

Owen will be forever missed by his beloved wife Margaret, sons Oisín and Rónán, daughters in-law Caoimhe and Christine, sister Sheila and brother Desmond, six cherished grandchildren Cian, Finn, Fiadh, Lana, Shea and Aoibh, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his sisters Mary and Grace, and his brothers Michael, Anthony and Terry.

 

Owen was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Reposing at Fitzgerald’s Funeral Directors, Channel Road, Rush, on Monday (23rd of June) from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday (24th of June), at 10am in St. Maur’s Church, Rush, followed by burial in Whitestown Cemetery, Rush.
