Oliver died peacefully on Saturday 14 June 2025, with his dearly loved family by his side and in the wonderful care of the staff at the Galway Hospice.
He will be dearly missed by his family; his loving wife Jacqueline, daughter Fiona, son Ronan and adored grandchildren Charlie and Samuel.
He will also be missed and forever remembered by his sister Mary and brother Tommy, nieces, nephews, extended family, colleagues and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Wednesday, 18 June 2025 : Oliver will repose at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91 V1K8) from 5 p.m. with Removal at 6:30 p.m. to St James’ Church, Bushypark.
Thursday, 19 June 2025 : Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Oliver at 12 noon. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Bohermore Cemetery (H91 V97C). Livestreaming: This Mass will not be live-streamed.
Family Flowers Only. Donations, if desired, may be made in memory of Oliver to the Galway Hospice Foundation. Link: Here..

Parking and entrance to the funeral parlour - Please approach the funeral parlour entrance on foot from Fr. Burke Park. Avoid closed streets after 6 p.m. with reference to Upper Dominick Street and William Street West.
Car parking in the area: Street parking on Fr. Griffin Road, The Claddagh, Henry Street and Sea Road, and very limited on Munster Avenue.
Car Parks: Claddagh Church, Tesco on Fr. Griffin Road and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station.
