Ned passed away peacefully on the 2nd of August 2025, in the exceptional care of the staff at Kilgobinet Unit, CareChoice Nursing Home.

 

Predeceased by his beloved grandson, Eoin, parents Tom and Catherine Sheehan, brothers Paddy, Maurice, Jack, Tommy, Mick, sisters Ellen (Murphy) and Tessie (Power).

 

Ned is deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving wife Biddy, sons Anthony and Jim, daughters Colleen (Catherine) and Claire, daughter-in-law Noreen, son-in-law Tony, grandsons Ger, Caoimhin, Cian, Oran, Oisin, Conal, Olan and granddaughter Enya, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

 

Ned will be reposing at The Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan (X35 XN79) on Monday evening, 4th August, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Prayers at 6.30 p.m.

 

Removal to St. Helena’s Church, The Nire on Tuesday morning, 5th August arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
