Michael Barrett

The death has occurred of Michael Barrett – Hillview, Ballinderry, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly Clonliffe Avenue, Dublin – September 19th, 2025 (peacefully) in the tender care of his wife and family and the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.

Reunited with his dearly loved grandson Colm and his brothers and sisters. Beloved husband of Ann (née Daly) and devoted father of Anna, Louise and Michael. Michael will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his wife and family, his cherished grandchildren Caoimhe and Brónagh; Sophie and Jamie; Leo and Danny, daughter-in-law Stephanie, sons-in-law Allen and Brian, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Sunday September 21st, from 5 pm with Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm. Michael’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday September 22nd, at 1 pm and the Mass may be viewed on the live webcam below.
Burial afterwards in Ballyglass Cemetery.
