Mary Teresa (May) Mulvihill
(née Murphy)

The death is announced of Mary “May” Teresa Mulvihill (nee Murphy) of Rathcline Road, Lanesborough, Co Longford and formally from Kilteevan, Co Roscommon. May passed away on 4th August 2025 at Roscommon Hospice, peacefully and calmly after a short illness. Pre-deceased by parents Elizabeth and Patrick, brothers Martin, Joe and Eddie and sisters Eileen, Annie May, Delia, Una, Lilly and Ann.

May will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family: beloved husband Joe, daughters Elaine, (Leicester) and Annette, (Lewes) and Paul (Sydney), Sons and Daughters in Law, Robert and Suzanne, grand children Tom, Fergus, Olivia, Grace, Louie, Daisy, Alice and Billy, great granddaughter Mia, brothers John and Matty, by May's many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Farrell's Funeral Home, Main Street, Lanesborough, Co Longford (N39 E761) on Thursday 7th August between 5pm and 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection in St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Lanesborough at 11am on Friday 8th August followed by burial at Strokestown Cemetery, Co Roscommon.
