The death has occurred of

Mary Rita Rossiter, Aughabeg, Corries, Bagenalstown, Co Carlow.

Mary Rita Rossiter of Aughabeg passed away peacefully on the 2nd August 2025 at Moorehall Lodge, Ardee nursing home with her loving nieces Marion and Siobhan by her side.

Predeceased by her father and mother James and Christina, sister Catherine, brothers Michael and Shay.

Deeply missed by her brother John, nephews Sean, Kevin, Alan and Colin, nieces Marion and Siobhan, sisters-in-law Marian and Theresa Rossiter, her in-laws Mark, David, Siobhan and Tricia, grandniece Kara, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and by her much loved dog Princess.

She will be sadly missed and very much loved by her devoted nieces who remember Rita as the best mother a title earned through boundless affection and selflessness.

May Rita Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Somers Funeral Home Bagenalstown (R21 DY66) on Tuesday from 2.pm to 7.pm.

Funeral Mass will take place in St. Lazerian's Church Ballinkillen on Wednesday Morning at 11.am, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
