MARY (MAURA) DALY
(née Fordham)

DALY (nee Fordham) Mary (Maura). Station Court, Ennis, Co. Clare and late of Ilford, London U.K and Creggboy, Shanaglish, Gort, Co. Galway. Peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Killeline Care Centre, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, on the 8th of November, 2025.

Pre- deceased by her beloved husband’s Bernard Daly and Jim Howes.

Mary will be deeply missed by all her loving family, a cherished and much loved sister of Anne Carmody (Carrigaholt) and Pauline Keighrey (Creggboy). Fondly remembered by all her nephews, nieces, relatives, great neighbours, many friends and by the extended Daly, Howes and Fordham families.

Mary will lie in repose in Seomra Ciúin, within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort, (H91 E0C8) on Tuesday morning, November 11th, from 10.30am until 11.30am. Removal at 11.45am to St. Colman’s Church Gort for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Mary will be laid to rest afterwards in St. Colman’s cemetery, Gort.

The family deeply appreciates your kindness and support at this time. A special word of thanks to all who cared for Mary in her final days, especially all the staff at the Killeline Care Centre, Newcastle West. Finally much gratitude to all our kind neighbours and friends for all they have done for us over these difficult days.
