Mary Hemlock

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Mary Hemlock (nee Allen), Carhue, Riverstick on November 6th 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of Marymount Hospice. Mary, beloved daughter of the late Michael and Sheila Allen (Curra, Belgooly), beloved wife of Michael, dear mother of Sinead, Brian, Conor and Aileen, and sister of Pat, Declan and the late Johnny.

Mary will be sadly missed by her husband and forever remembered by her four children and their partners Paddy, Elaine and Steven, brothers, grandchildren Jack, Ellie, Mollie, Naomi, Bobby, Riley, Tommy and Billy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of friends.

Mary will be lying in repose in Gabriel and O’Donovan’s Funeral Home, Kinsale (eircode P17WC61) on Sunday from 3pm followed by prayers at 5pm.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 1pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Riverstick after which Mary will be laid to rest in Ballymartle Cemetery.
