Mary Carey
(née Lowney)

Mary Carey née Lowney, Greystones, Co Wicklow and formerly Wexford, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on Saturday, 2nd August 2025 at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Tony and her parents, John and Peggie Lowney. Loving mother of Mark, Tara, Aoife and Aisling and devoted grandmother to Ryan, Ciara, Fiona, Ben, Toni, Josh, James, Cian, Alannah, Luke, Olivia and baby Con. She will be forever loved and sadly missed by her children, grandchildren and her family, including her sons-in-law Dan and Cian and daughter-in-law Sinéad, her siblings Brendan, Séan, Maurice, Declan and Noreen, her sisters-in-law Annette, Colette, Anne, Jenny, Eileen, Elke and Geraldine and brothers-in-law Tommy and Paul, nieces and nephews as well as her extended family, friends and neighbours.

Mary will rest at the family home (A63 PP26) from 5pm until 7pm on Friday 8th August. (House private thereafter). Funeral arriving to the Holy Rosary Church, Greystones at 1pm on Saturday 9th August for a funeral service to celebrate Mary's life followed by a private cremation.
