The death has occurred of Mary Callan (née Slater), Ballygassan, Dunleer, peacefully after a short illness at her daughter Deirdre’s home, surrounded by her family. Mary, beloved wife of the late Pat and loving mother of Siobhan and Deirdre. Predeceased by her parents James and Margaret, her brother John and also Jimmy and Gerard in infancy.
Deeply regretted by her daughters, son-in-law Matthew, Siobhan’s partner Kenneth, sisters Patsy and Jean, brother Brendan, brother-in-law Peter, sister-in-law Mary, grandchildren Kian, Harry and Grace, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Deirdre and Matthew Corrigan, Carstown, Ballymakenny, Drogheda (A92 K6W8) on Thursday from 2pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday to Saint Finian’s Church, Dillonstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Kilsaran Cemetery. Messages of sympathy may be left in the Condolence section below.
