The death has occurred of
Marie ROONEY
(née Walsh)
Rooney, Marie, (née Walsh) late of Balruddery Fields, Balrothery, Co. Dublin and formerly of Beneavin Park, Glasnevin – 22nd June 2025, in the loving care of the wonderful staff of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joe and sister Elizabeth. Marie will be sadly missed by her loving son Seán, daughters Alison and Carina, daughter-in-law Clare, sons-in-law Michael and Duileach, grandchildren Brian, Alan, David, Aoife, Seán, Daniel and Sarah, great-grandchildren Noah, Nathan and Hannah, brother-in-law Willie, sisters-in-law Maisie, Rosaleen and Esther, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home on Wednesday, 25th June from 5pm – 8pm. Removal on Thursday, 26th June to S.S. Peter & Paul’s Church, Balbriggan arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium at 1pm.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.
