Marie Antoinette Barry

Barry, Marie Antoinette. Passed away 30th July 2025 (Late of Drimnagh, Dublin 12), peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the compassionate care of the staff at St. James’s Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved parents, Florence and Daniel and her brother John.

 

A cherished aunt to her 10 nieces and nephews, a devoted grandaunt to her 21 grand-nieces and grand-nephews and their families. Marie will be deeply missed by her brother Michael, sisters-in-law Maura and Kay, extended family, neighbours, friends, fellow parishioners, members of the Legion of Mary, former colleagues at McCormack MacNaughtons and all who touched by her kindness, positivity and compassion.

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home. The Haven, 177 Crumlin Road, Dublin 12, D12 F864 on August 8th from 3pm prior to removal to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Drimnagh arriving at 5.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, August 9th at 10:00am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Drimnagh followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to those whose friendship and support brightened Marie's later years, especially Cody, Phyllis, Maeve, Eddie, Delia and the staff of the McAuley Centre, her wonderful neighbours and all at Bluebird Care.
