MARGARET (PEGGY) IGOE (née Salmon) Stonepark, Roscommon Town. (Peacefully) on 7th November 2025, in her 96th year, in the devoted care of Roscommon Hospice and previously Roscommon University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Mickey, parents John and Kathleen, sisters Vera and Eileen and brothers Tom, Sean and Mickey.

Treasured mother of Marian (Begley), Kay, Joan (Hannon), Michael, Brian, John and Doreen (Kilroe). She will be forever missed by her family, her brother Joe (Salmon), sister Molly (Orchard), her beloved grandchildren Siobhan, Ciara, Lorna, Oliver, Amy, Michaela, Hannah and Sarah, great-grandchildren Imogen, Elliott, Rua and Senan, sons-in-law Walter, Ollie and Mike, daughter-in-law Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May She rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Sunday from 3.30 o’c until 5.30 o’c followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday morning at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
