The death has occurred of Margaret (Gretta) Dolan, née O’Brien of Fairyhouse Road, Ratoath, Co. Meath. Formerly of Baltrasna, Ashbourne.
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, granny, aunt, and friend. Gretta passed away peacefully on 30th July 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her devoted husband, Paddy, who adored her beyond words.
Gretta was loyal and cherished sister to Nancy, a loving mother to Claire, Margaret, Paul, Miriam, and Padraig, and son-in-law Finian. She was a dearly loved granny to Mairéad, Oisín, Anya, Rebecca, Patrick, Jane, Niall, Conor, Heather-Mai and Jasmine. We will carry her memory with love and pride.
Gretta will be deeply missed by all her family, neighbours, and wide circle of friends. Though her journey on this earth may have ended, her presence will remain in our hearts forever.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at McEntaggarts Funeral Home, Main Street, Ratoath, A85 DW27 from 5pm until 7pm on Friday 1 st August.
Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in the Holy Trinity Church in Ratoath, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
