The death has occurred of Malachy (Mal) Brehony, Aughoo, Ballyfarnon, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.

Sunrise 19th September 1957, Sunset 21st September 2025.

Peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at North West Hospice, Sligo, surrounded by his devoted partner and family.

 

Pre-deceased by his beloved parents Malachy and Florence.

 

 

 

Malachy will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his devoted partner and carer Anna, his beloved children Gary, Serena, Brenda, eight grandchildren and Anna’s girls, brothers Eamonn and Noel, sisters-in-law Moira and Liz, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and his close friends.

Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon, on Tuesday evening (September 23rd) from 5p.m. until 8 p.m.

Removal on Wednesday morning (September 24th) to St. Patrick’s Crossna, to arrive for celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon, followed by interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery.
