The death has occurred of
Kathleen (Kay) Ryan
Kathleen Ryan, of Belmont, Rochestown and formerly of Alexandra Villas, Cork, passed away peacefully on Sunday 22nd June 2025, in the kind care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, with her partner Ann at her side. Kay is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Julia Ryan, and her brother Con.
Kay is lovingly remembered by her partner Ann, and her sister Patricia O’Riordan, Ann’s brother James Ingram and his wife Sharon, brother-in-law Pearse O’Riordan, her nephews and nieces James, Julia, Anna, and Michael, grandnephew Cian, grandniece Freya, and her lifelong friends Mary Barry and Sheila Gilmartin.
Also kindly remembered by Michael Gilmartin, Joe Melvin, Li O’Riordan and sons Charlie and Luke, Sabrina Callaghan, and her many friends in the show dog community and neighbours at Belmont, Rochestown.
Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’ Connor Ltd. on Tuesday (June 24th) from 2.00pm to 3.00pm followed by a celebration of Kay’s life at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork at 4.00pm which will be live streamed
