It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of the much loved
Joseph (Joe) Geoghegan
Rathdrinagh, Beauparc (formerly Athlone)

Retired Roadstone.

Peacefully, after a short illness surrounded by his loving family at his daughter Deirdre's home.

Predeceased by his daughter Josephine, parents Michael and Mary, his brothers Pat and Mickey.

Beloved husband of Martie and adored father of Deirdre, Linda and Lorraine.

Joe will be greatly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Paul, Damien & Del, grandchildren Abbey, James & Isobella, step-grandson Bobby, sisters Rose & Maura, brothers Sean, Noel & Peter, closest ally Kieran, all his brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, a large extended circle of friends, wonderful neighbours and all who had the privilege of knowing Joe.

Joe will be remembered as a much loved gentleman within the community, with a wicked sense of humour and a warm personality. Joe brought joy to everyone who knew him, his sayings for every occasion will be missed always. “D’ya reckon!” He was devoted to his work, and the best in the world.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday, 6th August from 2pm-8pm (Beauparc, Navan C15 Y2R0). Removal on Thursday morning at 10:45am to arrive at the Church of The Nativity of Our Lady, Rosnaree for Funeral Mass at 11:30am (Livestream). Burial afterwards in Knockcommon Cemetery.
