Johnny Butler

Johnny Butler, Clonboo, Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, passed away peacefully on the 18th of September 2025, in his 93rd year surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his sons Ned and Jack.

Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Mary, sons Pat and Matt, daughter Catherine, daughters in law Niamh and Anne, son in law Tom, grandchildren Kiera, Zoe, Lily, Aoife, Sarah, Seán, Éamonn, Joe and Áine, great granddaughter Éabha and a large circle of neighbours, relatives and friends.

May Johnny’s gentle soul rest in peace.

A long life well lived.

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home, Templemore (e41 tr83) this Sunday evening from 4 pm. Removal at 7 pm to St. Anne’s Church, Clonmore to arrive at 8 pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Interment in Templeree Cemetery afterwards.
