John Whelan

Whelan John, 19th June 2025, Clarence Mangan Road, Dublin 8, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at home; beloved husband of the late Rosaleen, loving dad of Michael, Tracey and Darren and a much-loved grandad of Seán, Ryan, Ruby, Robyn, Amber and Aaron. Predeceased by his sister Annette and brother Joe.

 

John will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving children and their partners, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbours especially Frances Foley and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Wednesday (25th June) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday (26th June) at 11am in St. Teresa’s Church, Donore Avenue followed by burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery.
