Died 22nd of June 2025 peacefully at home .

Predeceased by his wife Jannette and his brother Terry.

John will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughters Lisa and Georgina, son Stephen, adoring grandchildren Dean, Rachel and Holly, sons-in-law James and Oliver, brothers Christy and William, extended family, friends and neighbours.

John will repose at Smiths Funeral Home Barrack St. Granard, Co. Longford (eircode N39AX97) on Tuesday the 24th from 6pm to 8pm. Removal from his home on Wednesday morning arriving at St Bernard's Church, Abbeylara for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by Christian burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
