John Dooley

John passed away peacefully on 4th August 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the excellent care of the staff of Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by his cherished wife Joan, children Niamh, Anthony, Tara, Claire and Eimear, his grandchildren Peter, Zac, Rachel, Kate and Riley, daughter-in-law Mairéad, sons-in-law Charlie, Seán, Stephen and Claire's partner Gary, sister Shelly, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and his wide circle of extended family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Kevin and Terry, sisters Maureen and Aileen and parents Kevin and Nellie.

John will repose at his home (R14 CN55) on Wednesday evening, 6th August, from 5pm with Rosary at 7.30pm. Removal from his home on Thursday morning, 7th August to arrive at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy, Co. Kildare (R14 CA26) for Requiem Mass at 11am, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie. House private Thursday morning please. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery, Athy, Co. Kildare .
