John in his 90th year, passed away peacefully at his residence in the loving care of his family on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025.

 

Predeceased by his brothers Timmy, Michael and Joe.

 

Beloved husband and best friend of Breda (née Hawe).

 

Deeply regretted by his daughter Berenice, sons Liam, Eamon, Seán and Aidan, daughters-in-law Paula Roche, Maureen Brislane, Deirdre Keating and Marie Withers, son-in-law Tony O'Shaughnessy, sister Betty Finn (Kildorrery), sisters-in-law Kitty, Mary and Margaret, brothers-in-law John Hawe and David Finn, his adored 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in Hawe - O'Keeffe's Funeral Home (P56 YY15), Bakers Road, Charleville, on Friday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, followed by Prayers.

 

Reception into St. Mary's Church, Ballyhea on Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, after which John will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.
