and formerly of Lord Edward St. and Middleknock, Kilkenny
Joe passed away on 19th September 2025, peacefully, surrounded by family and in the wonderful care of the staff in the Suir Ward at St. Luke's Hospital. Beloved husband of Rita and much loved father of Delma and Jack. Joe will be dearly missed by his loving family, sister Roseann, brothers John, Michael, Bill, Kevin and Brock, son-in-law Keith, grandchildren Mia, Conor and Lily, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Joe is predeceased by his parents Billy and Maureen Butler.
May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his home in Sheastown (R95K2T6) on Sunday (21st Sept) from 4pm to 7pm pausing for Prayers at 5.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11am in St. Canice's Church, Kilkenny.
Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery.
House private on Monday please.
