It is with deep sadness we the family of the much loved
Jimmy (Noddy) Black
Fr Mc Cullen Park. Kells, Co.Meath
announce his sudden death
Thursday 31st July 2025
at his residence.
Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Maggie, his wife Mary and his sister Kathleen and is survived by his heartbroken sisters Lilom, Mary, Angela, Tina and Valerie, his nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Jimmy will be fondly remembered as a very much loved gentleman within the Kells community and the wider area, with a sharp wit and a warm personality. He devoted his life as an official and committee member and a volunteer for his beloved Kells Handball Club all his life, where he was highly respected by officials, players and visitors to the club.

Jimmy will repose at Mc Entee’s Funeral Home Newmarket St Kells A82KOD7
on Sunday from 4-7.30pm
Removal from the residence of his sister Tina Turner, Carrick St
on Monday morning at 10.15, walking via Lord Edward St., and Circular Road, arriving at his lifelong beloved Kells Handball Club at 10.30 am
Jimmy's cortage, accompanied by family and lifelong friends of Kells Handball Club will then make its way to
St. Colmcille's Church for Funeral Mass at 11am which can be viewed on kellsparish.ie followed by burial in St. Colmcille's Cemetery
