Jimmy Dunne

Dunne, Jimmy, Cloonkeen, Abbert, Menlough, Ballinasloe, County Galway. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the excellent care of the Mystical Rose Nursing Home on the 3rd August, 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Malachy and Nora, sisters Carmel and Annie, and brother Michael Joe.

Beloved husband of Martha, and loving father of John, Sandra and James.

Deeply regretted by his daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law Ian, and James’ partner Natalie. Sadly missed by his cherished grandchildren Tara, Christopher, Katelyn, Conor and Mark.

Forever remembered and deeply missed by his brother Tommy with whom he shared a lifelong bond, also his siblings Augustine, Mary and Sean, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Jimmy will repose at Mannion’s Funeral Home, Abbeyknockmoy, County Galway (H54 RW94) on Wednesday 6th August, 2025 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday 7th August 2025 at 12:00 noon at St. Bernard’s Church, Abbeyknockmoy (H54 KX60) followed by burial afterwards in the Moore Cemetery.
