LINDSAY James, peacefully, on Saturday 20th September 2025 in the company of his loving family.
James will be deeply missed by his siblings Christina, Mary, Pat, and Paul, brother-in-law Padraig Fannon and sister-in-law Anne Lindsay; his nieces Margaret, Tara, Aisling and Sarah, nephews Michael, Patrick, Shane and James.
James was consoled in spirit by his parents Pat and Sarah, sister Vera, brothers Seán and Gerard and sister-in-law Myra Lindsay. Suaimhneas Síoraí. James will be remembered by his extended family, neighbours, parishioners, the Reverend Rob Clements, Rector of Kilternan and colleagues in Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. Lovingly cared for by the exceptional, personalised and professional management and staff at Glebe House Nursing Home, Kilternan and the Palliative Care Team, Blackrock.
The Funeral Service will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Powerscourt, Enniskerry, on Thursday 25th September at 11am. The Ceremony will be led by his friends, the Reverend Caroline Brennan, Curate and Ms Carol Barry, Parish Reader, Kilternan Parish.
Following the Funeral Service James will be laid to rest in the Churchyard, Kilternan Parish Church.
