James (Jim) Delaney

James (Jim) Delaney, Inse Bay, Laytown, Co. Meath and formerly of Waterford and Dublin. 4th August 2025, Peacefully after a long illness. Predeceased by his sister Edith and brother Joe. Beloved husband of Yvonne, loving dad to Tara, Niamh and Tom and adored grandad to Hannah, Isaac and Joel. Jim, sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son, his brother Fr John, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Abies, Tara’s partner Aengus, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Thursday from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday morning in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Laytown. Burial will take place afterwards in Reilig Mhuire, Piltown.
