James Hastings

In the early hours of Thursday morning, James, passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of Galway Hospice, with his heartbroken family by his side.

A hugely loved husband, father, brother, son, family man, and friend, James is deeply mourned by his wife and best friend Marian, beloved sons Eoin, Ben, and Joey, his sister Elizabeth, mother Jannette, mother and father-in-law Kathleen and Kilian, brothers-in-law Martin and Eric, his nephews, nieces, and a wide circle of friends.

May he rest in peace.

 

James will repose at his home in Crushoa, Kinvara, on this Sunday, the 9th of November, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 

To manage traffic and parking, please use the designated parking area at St. Colman’s Church, Kinvara (H91 CX97). A continuous shuttle bus will operate from the Church to James’s house and return. Please follow the instructions of the stewards at all times.

 

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Colman's Church, Kinvara, on Monday, the 10th of November, at 1 p.m. and will be followed by a ceremony at Shannon Crematorium at 4 p.m.
