James (Brendan) O’Rafferty, Castle Abbey, Trim, and formerly Clonard, Co. Meath, and New York, 8th November 2025.

Brendan passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Joseph’s CNU, Trim.

 

 

 

Beloved husband of the late Catherine (née Carmody), loved and cherished father of Cathy and Judith, adored and adoring grandad of Isobel and Rebecca. Brendan will be sadly missed by his daughters, grandchildren, son-in-law Ken, brother Bernie, sister Marie (Forde), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Julia, and by his brothers, Rev Fr Pat, Kevin, John and Louis.

Reposing at Heffernan’s Funeral Home, High Street, Trim, C15 HDT1, on Monday evening from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am in St Patrick’s Church, Trim, which can be viewed on the livestream link below.

Burial afterwards in St. Loman’s Cemetery, Trim.
