Harriet Jean Ferguson
(née Bradley)

Harriet Jean Ferguson (nee Bradley) of Royston, Hertfordshire and formerly of Newry, Co. Down and Dublin, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at the age of 87.

 

Beloved wife of the late Pat Ferguson. She now joins her late siblings, Fr Tom Bradley, Patricia Starkey and Mary Sheppard, in heaven.

 

A devoted and much loved mother to Sinead and Bronagh and beloved mother in law of Tim, Steven and the late David. Cherished Nana of Eabha and Alannah. She is also survived by her loving brother Henry Bradley.

 

Jean, as she was known, was dearly loved by an extensive family of relatives and many close friends in Newry and Royston and across the two islands. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

 

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Thomas of Canterbury and the English Martyrs, Royston at 11.30am on November 14, 2025 followed by cremation at Cam Valley Crematorium. A further memorial mass and burial will take place in Newry in Spring 2026.
