The death has occurred of Geraldine Kilgannon (née Fleming) of College Road, Mountbellew (formerly of Greenville and The Islands, Caltra) who passed away peacefully on the 19th of September 2025 in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends, in her 93rd year.

Predeceased by her loving husband Anthony, her twin Carmel, siblings Phyllis, Margaret, Annie, Miko, Gerard and Roseanne, sisters-in-law Sis and Patsy, and brother-in-law Thomas.

She will be deeply missed by her beloved children Rosaleen, Paul, Mary, John, Kevin and Nuala, and their husbands, wives, partners Adam, Anna, Emer, Brid and Brett, and her dear sisters-in-law Mary and Rita Fleming.

Adored Grandmother of James, Anthony, Matthew, Kieran, Rhiannon, Erin, Tara, Kiera, Mark, Kian, Meghan, Niamh, Daragh and Aideen. She will be lovingly remembered by all of her nieces, nephews, extended family and her many great friends and neighbours.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Franciscan College Oratory, Mountbellew (H53 WE00) on Sunday 21st of September from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday 22nd of September at 12 noon at St. Mary's Church, Mountbellew (H53 Y9K4), with burial afterwards in Caltra cemetery (H53 PP90).

House private on Sunday evening and Monday morning.
