George Gethins

The death has taken place November 4th 2025 at his home of George Gethins, 4 The Cottages, Curraghalane, Lifford. F93 HX3P and formerly of Jinks Avenue, Sligo.

Dearly loved husband of Angela, much loved father of Trevor (Joanne), Conor (Rebecca), Alan (Emma) and David, devoted grandfather of Cillian, Oisin, Finlay, Louie, Freya, Hannah, Ben, Isla and Áda, beloved son of the late Mary and George Gethins and brother of Jacinta, Catherine, John, Damien, Melanie, Hillary and the late Carl.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and family circle.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday (November 5th)from 4p.m. Funeral leaving his home on Friday (November 7th) at 12.45p.m. for Requiem Mass in St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 1.30p.m. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Donations in lieu of flowers please to the Oncology Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o Quigley Funeral Directors, Newtown Place, Strabane.
